Q: Who is eligible for these services?
A: Frail and older people, and younger people with a disability, who live in the community and whose capacity for independent living is at risk of premature or inappropriate admission into long term residential care.
Q: When do centre-based activities run??
A: Monday to Thursday. Pickup starts from 8.30am and drop off generally ends by 2pm.
Q: When does Social Support happen?
A: Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 3.30pm.
Q: What type of food is served and what if I have special dietary needs?
A: Morning tea and lunch is prepared fresh in the kitchen by our cooks. All food is prepared in accordance to food safety regulations and varies week to week. Special dietary needs can be easily catered for – all you have to do is tell staff.
Q: Can you transport my wheelie walker/wheelchair?
A: Yes! Our minibus is equipped with a hoist for those with limited mobility and there is ample room for wheelie walkers and other items.
Q: Is the Harmony Club a singing group?
A: No. The Harmony Club is a day respite and social support service for older people and younger people with a disability.
